Besides promoting renewable energy, PowerVault (Thailand) Co., Ltd. plays a crucial role in environmental conservation through various CSR initiatives. Most recently, the company collaborated with NS BlueScope Lysaght (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to organize the “Post-Loy Krathong Cleanup” at Wat Chak Daeng, Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan.
This project was led by Mr. Warun Sachdev, Executive Director of PowerVault (Thailand) Co., Ltd., alongside employees from both companies. The activity started with cleaning up the waste left behind from the Loy Krathong festival, particularly on plastic waste that had accumulated in the river and surrounding areas of Wat Chak Daeng.
Volunteers worked diligently together, wearing gloves and carrying bags to collect trash along the riverbanks and within the temple grounds. Additionally, trees were planted to help enhance the green space. The atmosphere was filled with cooperation and determination to create positive change in the community.
The focus of this activity was to raise awareness among employees and the community about environmental care, such as reducing plastic use, planting trees, and proper waste management. The aim was to help everyone understand that small changes in daily life—such as using clean energy or reducing waste—can have a significant long-term impact on the environment.
Collaboration from all sectors—businesses, the government, and the public—is crucial for creating a better world. The unity of large organizations and communities in such activities helps raise awareness and sets a positive example for society in maintaining a sustainable environment.
